About.We are high school Science teachers who love teaching and getting our students excited about science. We believe that science is a verb and that our students learn best by rolling up their sleeves and actually doing science by questioning, planning, executing, explaining and evaluating. We both love teaching and want to share what we have learned through many professional learning experiences with others.

Our Team
Kristy Butler
A classroom teacher for 13 years focused on inquiry lesson design and student centered discussions. Kristy has been involved in a district redesign to align new courses to the Next Generation Science Standards. She has traveled and given presentations at the NSTA and NABT.

Patti Richardson
With over 25 years in the classroom Patti has developed curriculum for multiple courses and is an award winning teacher! Patti serves on the Michigan Science Teachers Association board as well as the Michigan Association of Biology Teacher's board.
